A new feature has been added to allow your organization members to efficiently manage transaction processing by controlling both the creation and approval of withdrawals.

Based on the user access level, the following actions can now be performed with withdrawals:

  1. The TRANSACT access level allows certain users only to initiate withdrawals, which will remain unprocessed in the INITIALISED state until further approval.

  2. The APPROVE access level allows users to either approve the pre-created withdrawals or have the new withdrawals processed automatically.

  3. Users with ADMIN access level inherit all the rights of those with levels TRANSACT and APPROVE.

How to manage the access levels of your users?

In the “Organisation Members” section of your profile page, when creating or editing a member, you can select the user access level.

How to approve withdrawals during creation?

Users with APPROVE or ADMIN access levels can use the Straight-Through Processing (STP) checkbox for both single and bulk withdrawals to auto-approve withdrawals during their creation. With the STP checked, withdrawals will be processed automatically, bypassing the INITIALISED stage. If STP is unchecked, the withdrawals will be created with status INITIALISED but will remain unprocessed pending manual approval.

How to manually approve pre-created withdrawals?

To approve previously initiated withdrawals users with the APPROVE or ADMIN access level should first identify them using proper filters on the Flash Connect UI and then approve them one by one following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the “Withdrawals” page.

  2. Click on the application cog icon in the table's top menu.

  3. Click “Filter” on the top right and select the “INITIALISED” status.

  4. Add the “Message Status” column to the table. This will enable you to identify withdrawals that need approval, as they will display “Approval required” in the Status message column.

4. Locate a withdrawal with the “Approval required” message and expand it.

5. Use the Approve button to approve the withdrawal
