Confirmation of Payee (CoP) is now available via API for Australian accounts. Built on the Australian Payments Plus (AP+) framework, Flash applies custom name-matching logic across the system workflows, providing clearer, actionable verification data before funds move.
How It Works
Run a CoP check on a recipient's account details — account name, BSB, and account number — to confirm them when onboarding payees or before an AUD payment. CoP returns a result (match, close match, or no match) or flags if the account is not found or closed. Flash provides the verification; the decision to proceed remains with the client.
Where to Use It
In Flash Connect, verify Australian account details directly from the Confirmation of Payee tool.
Via the Flash API, call Confirmation of Payee from your own systems to integrate name verification into your payouts. Contact us to enable this feature.
